Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Bespoke Woodcraft Studio LLC (“Bespoke Woodcraft Studio,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use www.bespokewoodcraftstudio.com, why we collect it, and the control you have over it. We keep this short and specific on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email us at ahmed@bespokewoodcraftstudio.com and we’ll answer plainly.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you send a message through our contact form or request a quote, we collect what you enter: typically your name, email address, and the details of your project. If you email us directly, we keep that correspondence.

Shop orders. When you buy a ready-made piece or a digital plan, checkout is handled by Shopify. You provide your shipping and payment details to Shopify at that step; we receive the order details we need to fulfill and support your purchase, but we never see or store your full card number.

Custom-commission payments. Deposits and invoices for bespoke work are processed through Stripe. As with the shop, card details go directly to the payment processor, not to us.

Information collected automatically. Like most sites, we log basic technical data (such as pages viewed, general location, browser, and device type) and use privacy-conscious analytics to understand what’s useful and what isn’t. This is aggregate and not used to identify you personally.

How we use it

• To reply to your message and answer your questions.
• To prepare quotes and estimates for custom work.
• To process, fulfill, and support shop and commission orders.
• To send you email only when you’ve asked us to, for example, if you join our occasional workshop newsletter.
• To understand how the site is used so we can make it better and keep it secure.

Payments and checkout

We use Shopify for shop checkout and Stripe for custom-commission deposits and invoices. Both are PCI-compliant payment providers that handle your payment information under their own privacy terms. We recommend reading them if the details matter to you.

Analytics and cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to make the site work and to measure traffic in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still function, though some conveniences (like a remembered cart) may not.

Email

We only add you to a mailing list if you sign up for one. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe, and we honor it immediately. We don’t send automated drip sequences or share your address for anyone else to email you.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the studio, and only as much as each needs to do its job, for example, our hosting and analytics providers, Shopify for the shop, Stripe for payments, and our email and database providers. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and project records for as long as we have an active or reasonably foreseeable relationship, plus the period our tax and business obligations require. When we no longer need something, we delete or anonymize it.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Just email ahmed@bespokewoodcraftstudio.com and we’ll take care of it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we’ll honor those requests as well.

Children

Our site and services are intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we’ll remove it.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, and we rely on established providers with strong security practices. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep what you share safe.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we’ll revise the date at the top. For significant changes, we’ll make a clearer effort to let you know. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
