The studio
A small studio, obsessed with getting it right.
Bespoke Woodcraft Studio is a precision architectural shop. We take a handful of commissions at a time so each project receives uncompromised engineering and structural refinement.
Why clients choose us
People hand us the pieces a home is built around: the dining table three generations will gather at, the kitchen they cook in every day, the built-ins that finally make a room make sense. That trust is the whole job. We earn it with joinery that holds, wood chosen for the long haul, and a process where you always know exactly where things stand.
The maker
The same obsession with tolerances: in code, then in wood.
Before the studio, our founder spent a decade as a software engineer, the kind who loses sleep over a rounding error at the fourth decimal place. Woodworking started as a way to work with the hands instead of the screen. It turned out to be the same discipline in a warmer material.
A cabinet that fits its opening to the millimeter, a drawer that closes on a cushion of air, a miter that reads as a single continuous grain. These are tolerance problems, and they are the ones we love. That engineering habit shows up everywhere: every cabinetry commission is modeled in 3D before a board is cut, so what we build is what you approved, down to the reveal.
We still build software for the trade; it just runs alongside the bench now, not instead of it. Both halves feed the same thing: work that is precise on purpose, and made to last.

What we hold to
Four things we won't compromise.
Not a mission statement. These are the calls we make at the bench when nobody would notice the shortcut.
Material honesty
We build in solid hardwood and let the grain speak. No veneers standing in for the real thing, no filler hiding a rushed cut. What you see is the wood, chosen board by board for the piece it becomes.
Joinery first
Structure comes before surface. Mortise-and-tenon, dovetails, splined miters: joints that hold for generations, cut to fit before a drop of finish goes on. The strength is built in, not glued on.
Finish you can feel
We finish by hand with hardwax oil, so the wood keeps its warmth and texture instead of hiding under plastic. It looks quiet, feels alive, and can be refreshed at home without a spray booth.
Built to be repaired
Nothing we make is disposable. Solid stock and mechanical joinery mean a scratch can be sanded, a top re-oiled, a panel re-seated decades from now. We build furniture to last lifetimes, not to be replaced.
By the numbers
Measured, not marketed.
- Years of woodworking & engineering
- 10+
- Custom commissions delivered
- 130+
- Maximum lead response time
- 24h
Honest, modest numbers from a studio that would rather build the next one well than count the last hundred.

At the bench
“I’d rather cut a joint twice and have it right than deliver something I know I’d have done again.”
Every commission is built by the same pair of hands, start to finish. No production line, no handoffs, no piece leaving the shop that we wouldn’t put in our own home.

How we work
Nothing about the process is a mystery.
Most shops keep you guessing. We lay out every stage up front: the timelines, the payments, and exactly what you’ll see at each step, from first sketch to installation day.
